The final balance payment of £40 per person and confirmation of team names, members and handicaps are due by February 28th.  If I do not receive your balance I will have to cancel your places and forfeit your deposits – I have to pay The Welcombe on 3rd March.  If you want to book buggies let me know - £30 each (I think you can pay on the day).

RAFFLE DETAILS:

Tickets £2.50 each, 5 for £10.  I hope that when you see the quality of the prizes you will agree this is a fair price

Please bear in mind this is a private not public raffle.  Tickets will only be sold to golfers on the day, society members and close friends or family of the organizer.  You cannot sell tickets on behalf of the raffle – but you can buy as many as you want.

To enable as many people as possible to win a prize the raffle will be run on a ‘knock out’ basis.  Once a ticket holder has won a prize any future tickets drawn belonging to that holder will be cancelled and drawn again.

Winners will be able to choose which prize they prefer depending on the prizes remaining when their ticket is drawn. i.e first ticket out has first choice, second ticket choice of remaining prizes etc. Ticket holders not present on the day will be able to put their preferences in writing or nominate someone to make a choice on their behalf.

PRIZES - I am still confirming prizes and will send a final list to all ticket purchasers ahead of 27th March so if they are not present on the day they can make their choices. Confirmed so far

Our “Unofficial” Tour to Ireland in 2010 is to Westport, Co. Mayo from the 27/28th until 31st May (Bank Holiday weekend). Are you interested?

We have secured a great deal at The Mill Times Hotel in the heart of the town. Take a look www.milltimeshotel.ie.

3 nights B & B and 1 evening meal (Friday to Monday) per person sharing is 159 euros and if you go on the Thursday you get the 4th night B & B free. A 40 euro deposit per person will be required when booking.

We are hoping to arrange transport, numbers permitting, return from the airport to the hotel and golf courses. 3 games of golf will be arranged for Friday, Saturday and Sunday @ approx 30 - 35 euros per round. Saturday’s and Sunday’s golf will be a 2 day competition and again depending on numbers we can do something different for Friday. Dinner and presentation will be in the hotel on the Sunday night.

Bmibaby flights to Ireland West Knock airport are currently available at £16.04 for Thursday and £34.04 for Friday (both departing at 13.15), return flights on Monday are £24.04 arriving in Birmingham at 16.15.
